Mule ESB is an Enterprise Service Bus developed by Mule Source. It is a Open Source, Java-based integration tool that allows businesses to define the communication layer of their enterprise systems.

Mule is an ESB (Enterprise Service Bu s) and integration platform. It can be thought of as a lightweight messaging framework and highly distributable object broker that can seamlessly handle interactions with other applications using disparate technologies such as J MS, Http, Email, and Xml-RPC.

The Mule framework provides a highly scalable environment in which you can deploy your business components. Mule manages all the interactions between components transparently whether they exist in the same VM or over the Internet, and regardless of the underlying transport used.

Mule was designed around the ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) enterprise integration pattern, which stipulates that different components or applications communicate through a common messaging bus, usually implemented using JMS or some other messaging server.

Mule goes a lot further by abstracting JMS endpoints and any other transport technology away from the business objects used to receive messages from the bus.

What Mule service do we offer?

We offer consulting and contracting services for Mule. Whether your company needs assistance determining which ESB to implement or actually implementing the ESB, our team will make sure that your Enterprise Service Bus fulfills your integration needs.

Our greatest success story was late last year, when we implemented a Mule installation for a national jewelery retailer. Mule was used to integrate their Web store with their existing applications, including accounting, point-of-sale, merchant services, and warehousing. Some were internal applications using legacy technologies, while others were third-party vendor that used a mix of technologies.

What Mule services does MuleSource offer?

When the time comes to put your ESB to the test, the people at Mule Source will support your systems at a reasonable cost. If a problem arises in your Mule ESB environment, the experts who wrote the software are there to help you!

Many times Open Source products are overlooked in the evaluation phase because executives feel more comfortable purchasing software that is supported. Mule has a production-ready support team that is happy to help you with problems, or even simple questions. Give them a call them and let them show how well Open Source works.
